The lullaby
In order to chose the girls that we were going to record to do the lullaby we ensured that they were all of a very young age to make sure that they sounded very small and innocent little girls. We decided as a group it was probably easiest to get the girls from school as outside of school it may be hard to get enough of the specific aged girls especially all at the same time. Therefor, it was obvious that going for the youngest girls that we could find to record would give the most successful effect.
As a group we went to a year seven class and collected six keep year twelve singers. The volunteered as they were very keep to do it.
The acting
In order to chose the actors that we were going to use wisely, we took into account the age, the body type, the looks of the girls and the level of acting they were capable of. For the looks of the three different girls, we decided that to suit it well to the genre they had to look fairly plain and stereotypical average teenagers. This would show that although just ordinary girls they had been targeted and had b been chosen as victims for no reason. This is why the girls that we used had plain brown hair, not too long an not too short, their skin was pale and they wore little to no make up. The girls were all GCSE standard Drama which meant that they were good at acting.
