Health and safety consideration
- Moving things around the room or in and out of the garage
This could be a health and safety issue, as some of the objects in the bricked wall garage may be heavy . These objects, if heavy and are to fall or hit you, could put you at risk of potentially hurting yourself or having a serious injury.
- Tripping on things
Big objects that are likely to be tripped over, should be moved out of the way before to ensure that no one is hurt, or at risk. In the garage (brick room) there are big objects such as a bath, and a fridge that could all be used to build the atmosphere. However objects such as a small bookshelf, can be walked into easily and could trip you up if you are not careful.
- Going out when its dark
When out shooting the forest scene, in the dark or at dusk, the area will be very dark and gloomy and due to this it means it will be hard to see and visualise objects and things that could trip you up.
To ensure that this does not happen, we should film when it is not to dark, and also should take plenty of lights and torches.
- Unsafe in the dark
Any areas that we are deciding to shoot we will have to check to ensure that it is not someo0nes land or property and that if we are we get permissions so we do not get in trouble. Fields and woodland areas that are by farms, will be owned by farmers that may own guns, so to ensure that we are safe, we will need to check before hand that this is alright.
- Handling shooting objects
Some of the objects we are using for shooting, may potentially be hard or sharp objects. When shooting clips, were a hand is not visible, a thick glove shout be worn to make sure you do not accidentally cut yourself or pinch any skin. An example os this could be with the big plyers.
